Angeline Lue - van den Broecke has over 30 years experience in the Business Events/Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry. Her scope of work has covered industry and organisational advancement and transformation of the business events eco-system in both the public and private sector. She has collaborated extensively with industry associations and venues clients, and has gained vast industry knowledge & expertise, as well as an extensive global network.
Her work is focused on providing support to International Convention & Exhibition Centres, Destination Marketing Organisations (DMOs), Convention Bureaux (CVBs), International Associations and the formation of Strategic Partnerships and Alliances.
A highly motivated individual, Angeline uses her cumulative experience to advance the professional development of the industry supply chain and its contribution to the knowledge economy. Her focus has always been aligned to the broader economic and social development agenda of developing destinations in Asia, Africa, and beyond, by building and supporting the capacity of future leaders.
Angeline has provided professional development content and moderated various industry sessions at events such as the ICCA Congress, Malaysia Business Events Week (MBEW), IMEX Future Leaders Forum, ICCA & AIPC Sales & Marketing Venue Forums and Webinars & the MyCEB/MSAE Association Day.
She is a non-executive Board Member of the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) and is a past Board Member of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA). She is currently an Advisory Board Member to the Tourism Investment Forum Africa (TIFA) and a member of the Institute of Directors South Africa (IODSA).
